My little man Etienne can no longer see so well due to cataracts and he is about to lose one eye due to glaucoma. Nevertheless he is comfortable using the stairs when I lead him to them. He's only once used them without my guidance but we will get there, I have no doubt.

Thus is the second tree I have bought, went for lower style for stability, broken part in top hammock awaiting response. My cat has trouble climbing to the top platform as ascent quite vertical, will try to modify as otherwise good, loves bottom hammock, chose this as has two hammocks but one needs repair.
The tree was relatively easy to assemble and is a good height. And sadly my cats are not at all interested in the saggy/snuggle bed parts.
However as a free standing unit it is not very stable. With only cross connections at the base and the top, this unit moves and wobbles considerably as soon as my cats jump on it and move around. I mean it won’t fall over where it is but previous poles/trees I’ve had haven’t been this bad.
Also the scratching poles aren’t really long enough for the cats to really stretch out and scratch their claws comfortably.
I’m somewhat disappointed overall but can’t do much about it. We will try and add another cross beam to stabilize the unit some more.
To be honest I wouldn’t recommend this unit. I gave it three stars but would have preferred 2 1/2 as a rating.
Product was good but one of the screw holes was too small for the screws provided so i haven’t been able to build it all correctly and will need to purchase additional screws.
My 10 year old cat Poppy loves it. Sleeps in the top hammock and views the world outside on the top of the cat tower.
