I have one cat that has never been a big user of my traditional cat scratching trees, however she LOVES these, and uses them all the time. They are a bit messy, but she has stopped scratching our new recliners, so the mess is a small price to pay.

My little man Etienne can no longer see so well due to cataracts and he is about to lose one eye due to glaucoma. Nevertheless he is comfortable using the stairs when I lead him to them. He's only once used them without my guidance but we will get there, I have no doubt.
I refer this as my cats spiral stair case and although it hasn’t yet been put together, I have ordered the 6 piece extension set to add on to the original pack. With 10 cats, this will be giving them another area to explore and play up high. I plan to add walkways along the walls so the cats can be up high and this spiral stairway allows the cats a safer way to access the high areas.
