My cat has been destroying my furnishings with her constant claw sharpening. She took to this scratcher straight away..with the help of a few sprigs of cat mint. Very happy with this purchase. Cat happy, I’m happy, furniture still shredded but in the past now.

sturdy, nice and tall for big cat

I've only had the tower a few weeks the cats love it but they have already started to destroy it with carpet pieces coming off and small amount rope being displaced by them scratching on the poles also when they are moving amongst the 3 topmost platforms the poles to platform are leaning badly they go back into place when cats aren't on it but sway markedly when they are on it moving about my cats are adult but they are over weight they are within vets normal weight for size and age appropriate so wonder if taller towers are strong enough to last as they cost a fair amount and being on pension its hard to replace them constantly majority or tower is adequate its just the connections to top platforms that seem unstable and they love the tower and one loves sleeping right up the top me thinks tower probably great for kittens as to adult cats ha ha its only the male cat who makes parts bend and sway he is 6 kg weight and 3 years old and typical rambunctious male but there wasn't weight limit on it. just thought the materials would last longer intact then 20 days sigh maybe stronger glue required for the carpet bits and rope sections The scratching tower alone the square scratching post is wonderful as they love to reach up and stretch out as they use it and is very stable
